Joel holds a BSc in Nuclear Engineering (Oregon State), an MSc in Physics (Erasmus Mundus, Europe), and a PhD in Experimental Plasma Physics (University of Saskatchewan). He’s taught around the world—from running a tutoring company to teaching in South Korea and Thailand—and is known for tailored support and genuine enthusiasm for math. He enjoys the performing arts, reading, cooking, and long runs.
